Prague Pride is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that puts people and their human dignity first. Respect and diversity are their core values. They believe in democracy and the rule of law based on respect for human rights. Their mission is to shape a respectful and safe environment where LGBT+ people can be themselves. The chapter inspired by the story of Kateřina Saparová, the CFO of Prague Pride, is also part of the book Bohemian Taboo Stories.
Prague Pride believes in the power of personal stories that connect us. They help LGBT+ people on their journey to self-acceptance and coming out. Only a society that knows such people can fully embrace them in their diversity.
They strive for a level playing field in the Czech Republic, which is why they co-created the We Are Fair initiative and co-founded the Pride Business Forum platform. They create a space of safety and belonging through the Prague Pride festival, which gives LGBT+ people the opportunity to be seen and heard by mainstream society. They are supportive in various life situations, which is why they run the Sbarvouven.cz counselling service and address prejudice violence and its victims through the #ozvise project. They educate in schools, companies and professional professions about our topics. They connect LGBT+ people with each other, which is why they founded the first LGBT+ community centre in the Czech Republic.

Bohemian Taboo is a platform designed to support education, personal development, contemporary art, queer and other alternative communities, biohacking, research, aesthetic medicine, counseling, provocative events, assistance to disadvantaged groups and all other possible, so far little known, unsupported, tabooed or unjustly censored activities that overlap into the field of personal intimacy, sexuality and eroticism - erotic art and sexual wellbeing, i.e. what we call the development of erotic intelligence.
