The pseudonym Iamer was created by transposic letters from the name Marie. Iamer has studied at a secondary school of arts and crafts and at university with a focus on textiles and clothing. This is also where she was introduced to drawing.
Iamer's interests include textile and clothing design, drawing and photography. Her first encounter with figure drawing was in high school, where she immediately fell in love with drawing the whole figure and studying movement (known as movement studies). In addition, she was playing sports at the time, so she studied the body not only by external observation, but also by internal instinct. She generally considers the body to be the most perfect thing in the world. She enjoys capturing and expressing it in different ways. Shibari draws precisely because of the movement you can create by binding.
For her, photography is a quicker way to capture the body and movement. At the same time, her emotions come out more in photography. Her personality is very much imprinted in the photograph - the closedness, the mysteriousness. Openness is very vulnerable for her.
For her, clothing and textile work means studying the body again in a different way.
