In his photographic work he uses the pseudonym Henryk Mrejzek, but his real name is Michal Rejzek. He contributed photographs to the book Bohemian Taboo Stories in the chapters Edna Kinbaku, Laboratory of Evolutionary Sexology and Psychopathology, Prague Fetish Weekend, The Theatre F. X. Kalby and Henryk Mrejzek. He is also the author of texts in the chapters Prague Burlesque and Henryk Mrejzek. His photographs have also been exhibited in the joint exhibitions of the International Erotic Art Festival 2020 in Chile, Bohemian Taboo in 2021 in St. Albans, UK and the Erotic Art Exhibition 2022 in London.
He was born in Liberec, lived in the Netherlands and Australia, and for the time being has settled in Prague. Henryk Mrejzek is self-taught, but has been interested in the world of photography since childhood. He was surrounded by several photographers in the neighbourhood and thanks to his parents' friends, and so when he got his first camera at the age of six, he began to try to imitate their work. He had always been fascinated by new technology and so, when the first digital cameras began to appear at the turn of the millennium, he put away his cine-film photo equipment and bought his first professional DSLR camera in Sydney, where he worked as an assistant to advertising photographer Andreas Bommert. After returning to the Czech Republic, he retrained at the Institute of Digital Photography under the guidance of Ondřej Neff and Jan Březina. He mainly works with erotic art photographs, which he often digitally edits. However, he also enjoys photographing nature and people during his travels to different continents and countries.
Bohemian Taboo is a platform designed to support education, personal development, contemporary art, queer and other alternative communities, biohacking, research, aesthetic medicine, counseling, provocative events, assistance to disadvantaged groups and all other possible, so far little known, unsupported, tabooed or unjustly censored activities that overlap into the field of personal intimacy, sexuality and eroticism - erotic art and sexual wellbeing, i.e. what we call the development of erotic intelligence.
