Bet Orten is a photographer who contributed photographs to the Prague Burlesque chapter of Bohemian Taboo Stories. Her photographs were also exhibited at the Bohemian Taboo joint exhibition in St. Albans, UK.
Bet Orten's work oscillates between fashion photography, documentary, portraiture and landscape. Her photographs are reminiscent of poetic paintings or impressions from stories that are so familiar but were never written. Bet gained her experience mostly abroad. She lived in New York, where she worked as an assistant in the team of the famous American photographer Steven Klein. She graduated from the London College of Fashion with a degree in fashion photography. In 2012 she won the Czech Grand Design Award in the category of Photographer of the Year.
